Yes! I Just Saw Tits at 8:05pm on BBC One

On BBC One's Newest Fashion-World Drama Material Girl, which premiered tonight at 8pm, there were some nice sights but not for TV at time. Yes, Millions would have just seen shoots like this moments after the BBC News Recap and Eastenders (not so controversial):

And the most extreme of them all was this shot about 3 and a half minutes into the show.

I wouldn't be reporting this if the show had gone out after the watershed, but lots of kids could, and most likely would have been watching that, not good BBC, I think I here the telephones ringing and BBC Breakfast lining up an apologetic interview with an executive.

Last Week Ratings Feature: Let It Snow!

One of the biggest viewed selection of programs that got big figures last week (4th - 10th January) where the local and national BBC News and Weather programs, drawing big figures as the on-set of heavy snow scared the nation into getting all the information they could before and during the snow fall. On Wednesday, the local BBC News broadcasts drew 10.3 million views in the early evening slot at 6:30pm, a reported 39% share of the audience, which broke all BBC News records and drew more viewers than most programs on Christmas Day. The Guardian Website reported:
The BBC1's regional news achieved another record audience last night, Wednesday 6 January, with more than 10 million people tuning in to the early evening broadcast, and almost 6 million gripped by a news special on the impact of the Big Freeze later in the night.
The BBC local news broadcasts attracted a massive 10.3 million viewers and a 39% share of viewing at 6.30pm, according to unofficial overnight figures, in what is thought by the corporation to be the largest ever audience for its regional news show. BBC1's Six O'Clock News attracted 6.9 million and 28% share.
ITV1's regional news report also recorded bumper viewing figures with a peak of 6.1 million viewers, and an average of 5.8m, tuning in at 6pm – a 23% share.
The BBC's quick-turnaround weather special, called the Big Freeze, attracted 5.9 million and a 22% share of audience between 8pm and 8.30pm. The special formed part of a swiftly reconstructed schedule to replace the cancelled Carling Cup semi final.
Once again, the weather boosted viewing of late evening news with BBC1 attracting 5.8 million to the 10 O'Clock News, a 24% share, and the same number tuning in to the regional news and weather broadcast. ITV's News at 10 drew 3.7 million viewers and a 16% share, with 3.2 million watching its regional news and weather.
The Day before, Tuesday 5th January, also brought in massive figures for BBC and ITV before the snow even fell in most parts of the country, especially with the South, including London about to get a powdering, this from the Guardian site about the ratings for that day, including record ratings for Eastenders:
The arrival of heavy snowfall last night led to a surge in TV viewing with more than 9 million people tuning in to BBC1's early evening local news broadcast and 11 million watching EastEnders – a bigger audience than Christmas Day.
The BBC local news broadcasts attracted a massive 9.1 million viewers and a 37% share of audience at 6.30pm, according to unofficial overnight viewing figures for Tuesday 5 January. BBC1's Six O'Clock News attracted 6.5 million and 28%.
ITV1's regional news report also recorded bumper viewing figures, with 5.3 million tuning at 6pm, a 23% share. This was followed by ITV's 30-minute national news and weather report, which attracted 5.5 million and 22%. Channel 4 News also received a weather bump with 1.3 million and 5% between 7pm and 7.55pm.
Later, 6.9 million tuned in to BBC1's Ten O'Clock News, a 28% share, with 7 million watching the regional news and weather broadcast. ITV's News at Ten drew 3.9 million and 16%, with 3.6 million watching its regional news and weather.
With large parts of the country blanketed in snow, 11 million watched BBC1's EastEnders, a 42% share of the audience at 7.30pm. This was more than the 10.9 million who tuned in to watch the Archie Mitchell whodunnit on Christmas Day, but fewer than the 11.6m that watched the News Year's Day episode.
On Thursday (7th January), Local News Bulletins on BBC and ITV, the ratings surged again with BBC's 6:30pm local broadcasts attracting 9.1 Million (36.4% Audience Share), that is nearly 2.5 million more than watched the national broadcast half an hour before. Whilst ITV's National and Local Broadcasts, at 6pm and 6:30pm respectfully, both drew 5.3 million viewers, with the 10pm Bulletin bringing in 3.6 Million. Though this wasn't a scratch on the BBC News at 10pm which picked up 6.5m, just over a quarter of all people watching TV at that moment, not bad at 10 O'Clock. Below is a Video from the BBC Look East News Program from Thursday 7th:
